My typical day as a marketer usually involves some of the following:

• 2-3 impactful meetings
• 1 hour of necessary social networking via Twitter, Facebook, and the like
• 1 hour of analyzing metrics & dashboards via Webtrends, Omniture, Bit.ly, etc.
• 1-2 spreadsheet apps
• 1 creative brainstorming session
• 1-2 co-marketing opportunities
• 1-2 tall cups of coffee
• 1 diet soda
• 2 apples

But today was even better than the usual, because I was able to enjoy a quick social lunch with some fabulous colleagues at my favorite nearby dimsum restaurant. Some were total newbies, and others were relative newcomers, but by the end of the meal, all were converted into dimsum-lovers. Can somebody please pass the shu-mai?
